Safety

Rowing is a dangerous sport. The risks include hypothermia, broken bones and drowning to name but a few. An important part of keeping our rowers safe is educating them, and that is what the first part of this page is about - teaching rowers the risks and how to avoid them. This information is designed to suppliment not replace the ARA water safety code which all rowers, coaches and coxes should be familiar with. Equally what is provided is not comprehensive.

Included at the end of this page is a copy of the relevent risk assesments carried out by PCBC
